I am pursuing a PhD in Economics as a Marie Skłowdoska-Curie Actions Fellow in HOMeAGE Doctoral Network, working on the project focused on Integrating AI in the long-term care system in Italy for enhanced inclusion, efficient and quality care-delivery. My research utilizes a combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The overall PhD aims to contribute to the field of Economics, Medical Sociology, AI, Health Innovation and Tech, and Gerontology. For my PhD, I am hosted by INRCA-IRCCS National Institute for the Care of the Elderly or the National Institute on Health and Science on Ageing, Tech4Care, and Università Politecnica delle Marche in Italy.

My academic training is grounded in Applied Economics and Public Policy, complemented by solid experience in research and analysis to inform policy architects and the decision makers. I hold a Master of Public Policy degree (2021), and completed partial coursework for Master of Applied Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Despite significant personal hardship during the degree program that affected my academic performance, the experience clarified my purpose in policy research and academia. Prior to that, I earned a Bachelors (Global Development) and Masters majoring in Development Economics from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. 

I hold a concrete teaching experience in universities in United States of America and Bangladesh, where I taught courses like Economic and Political History, Principles of Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, Statistics, Business Mathematics in graduate and undergraduate level. 

I have worked in different roles in international development agencies and academia. I have actively shown commitment to different pressing global challenges like inclusion of youth in the policymaking, improvement and justification of quality statistics and statistical prediction, prioritizing social innovation as a growth strategy and so on.
